These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of VendorConnect.com.ng, a platform that connects vendors, suppliers, manufacturers, and service providers with buyers and procurement opportunities across Nigeria. By accessing or using VendorConnect, you agree to these Terms.

If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use the platform.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By registering an account, submitting listings, or using any features on VendorConnect.com.ng (“VendorConnect”, “we”, “our”, or “us”), you confirm that:

  • You are at least 18 years old
  • You are authorized to represent the business or organization listed
  • You agree to comply with all applicable laws in Nigeria

2. Services Provided

VendorConnect offers the following services:

  • A business directory for vendors, suppliers, and service providers
  • A platform to publish and respond to procurement and supply opportunities
  • Business profile pages with media, contact info, and service categories
  • Equipment sale and rental listings
  • Communication tools to connect buyers and vendors

Some services may be available only to registered users or paying members.

3. Account Registration

To access certain features, you must register for an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information
  • Keep your login credentials confidential
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account

VendorConnect reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts found to be in violation of these Terms.

4. Vendor Listings and Content

When submitting your business or product listing:

  • You are solely responsible for the accuracy and legality of the content
  • You must not include false, misleading, illegal, or harmful material
  • You must own or have permission to use any logos, images, or media
  • Listings must be relevant to the Nigerian market

We reserve the right to review, edit, or remove any content that violates our standards or local laws.

5. Payment and Subscriptions

VendorConnect may offer paid services, such as featured listings or premium access. Payment terms:

  • All fees are clearly stated before checkout
  • Payments are non-refundable unless otherwise stated
  • Subscriptions may renew automatically unless canceled prior to renewal

6. Prohibited Activities

Users must not:

  • Post fraudulent or misleading content
  • Attempt to access another user’s account
  • Upload viruses or malicious code
  • Use the platform for spamming or phishing
  • Violate Nigerian laws or infringe third-party rights

Violating these rules may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account.

7. Intellectual Property

All content and trademarks on VendorConnect are the property of VendorConnect or its licensors unless otherwise stated. Users may not copy, modify, distribute, or exploit platform content without written permission.

You retain ownership of content you submit but grant us a non-exclusive license to display and use it on the platform.

8. Limitation of Liability

VendorConnect is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not guarantee:

  • Continuous, error-free access to the platform
  • That listings or buyer requests will result in actual transactions

We are not liable for any loss or damage, including financial or reputational, resulting from your use of VendorConnect.

9. Third-Party Links and Services

VendorConnect may include links to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for their content, availability, or your interactions with them.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account:

  • If you violate these Terms
  • If your activities harm other users or the platform
  • Without notice, for any legal or security reason

You may close your account at any time by contacting us.

11. Privacy

Your use of VendorConnect is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the platform, you consent to how we collect, use, and share your data.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any legal disputes shall be resolved in Nigerian courts.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms occasionally. We will notify users via email or website notice when changes are made. Continued use of VendorConnect after changes means you accept the revised Terms.
